Actions of the Lowe Countries is a multi-unit, full immersion event, for Pike, Shot, Horse and Camp. Enjoy the weekend training with your comrades in other military units. Meals

Event cooks will be serving up tasty hot period food items for dinner on Friday, lunch and dinner on Saturday, and lunch on Sunday. Because of the need to accurately plan for the number of persons to be served, meals must be purchased in advance. This year, however, you will be able to specify which individual meals you would like (unlike the three-meal ticket that we offered last season). You can pay in advance with your registration. Food sales will not be available to those who have not pre-purchased.

What will be provided:

  • Firewood.
  • Unlimited water for horses and washing (the local water source is not certified as potable for humans).
  • Limited supply of drinking water.
  • Blunted pikes will be provided for drills and tacticals.
  • A hearty breakfast of oatmeal, dried fruit and milk will be served Saturday and Sunday.

What else do I need to know:

  • You may arrive any time after 9:00 AM on Friday, April 13th.
  • No charge for parking.
  • Since the onsite water is not guaranteed potable, you should bring a sufficient amount of drinking water for your own needs (a limited quantity of drinking water will be provide by the event).
  • Please arrive and set up on Friday morning, if at all possible. Our military style schedule begins at mid afternoon.
  • Full accent with military courtesies and protocols will be observed for the duration of the event.
  • All non-period items must be stowed, all vehicles moved to the main parking lot and all participants in costume from mid-afternoon Friday until the event closes on Sunday. If you arrive Saturday morning, please dress in the parking lot and set up your camp in costume.
  • Please remember that this is a period encampment. Keep all non-period items covered or out of sight.
  • Please read About SRS Events and Expectations for Participants.
