2012 Schedule of Events
The Barbary Coast Trail Walk is a unique event. Participants will walk through the streets of San Francisco, passing through historical neighborhoods, following the length of the Barbary Coast Trail, a route marked by 180 bronze medallions, established by historian Daniel Bacon in collaboration with the San Francisco Museum and Historical Society. Instead of receiving lectures or reading about some of San Francisco’s notable residents who once inhabited the environs encountered, participants on the walk will actually have the opportunity meet many of these people “in person.”
Also see an Interactive Map of the Barbary Coast Trail in MapMyRUN which includes a Google Earth 3D fly through of the route.
January-March, 2011 Vol. 23, No. 1, Page 12 "Sun Shines on the Inaugural Barbary Coast Trail walk" an article which mentions our involvement as reenactors in this event.
